Acorn Farm, our Maryland facility and main operating office sits on 20 acres with 15 of which are set up as an arboretum style rather than a true nursery growing operation. Our collection of plant material is scattered about the farm and laid out as such to provide a pleasant walk through while being able to see how the structure, texture and colors of the various plant material work together. Our plants, gathered which have come from different places over the years, are individually cared for through soil preparation, hand watering and root pruning as necessary. We pride ourselves by specializing in hand digging all of our plant material. This gives us the distinct advantage, allowing us to hand prune roots for a better healing process as well as custom dig the size of the root ball.
